Beavers

What are Beavers?
Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family. Their activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends.

Beavers are usually aged between 6 and 8 years old, though they can be as young as 5 3/4.

Activities
Please see our Facebook page for photographs of our Beavers enjoying their Activities.

Where and when do they meet?
Meetings are held at our Scout Headquarters on a Thursday evening between 6pm and 7pm.

How can your child join?
Please let us have your child's details by entering the 'Membership Enquiry' email form on the 'Contact Us' page. Your child's details will be entered onto our database and the Beaver's Leader will contact you when your child is old enough and we have a vacancy.

Please be advised that there is a Waiting List for our Beavers. If you child is getting near 6 years of age you may wish to consider contacting another Beaver Colony.
