Beavers

What are Beavers?
Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family. Their activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends.

Beavers are usually aged between 6 and 8 years old, though they can be as young as 5 3/4.

Where and when do they meet?
Meetings are held at our Scout Headquarters on a Thursday evening between 6pm and 7pm.

How can your child join?
Please let us have your child's details by entering the 'Membership Enquiry' email form on the 'Contact Us' page. The enquiry email will be sent the web administrator who will forward it to the Beaver's Leader who will contact you at the appropriate time.

Please be advised that there is a Waiting List for Beavers. If you child is getting near 6 years of age you may wish to consider contacting another Beaver Colony.
