Beaver Scouts are the
second youngest section of the Scouting family. Their activities are based
around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going
out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how
to be safe and most importantly, making new friends. Beavers are
usually aged between 6 and 8 years old, though they can be as young as
5.75
How can your child join? Please let us have
your child's details by entering the 'Membership Application' email form on
the Contact Us web page. Your child's details will be entered onto our
database and one of our Beavers Regular Volunteers will contact you when your child is old
enough and we have a vacancy.
Have you any Questions about Beavers? If you have any questions about Beavers that your web search engine cannot answer, please ask us via our Contact Us web page.
We do not have enough Regular Volunteers (would you like to volunteer?) to
entertain parents or other people who just arrive at any of our
meetings without an appointment.
Please
be advised that there is a Waiting List for our Beavers. If you child
is getting near 6 years of age you may wish to consider contacting
another Beaver Colony.
